"Consult completed! Dr. Asbun was "the unknown" to me as I ran around getting all the prerequisites completed, so I was a bit scared... but, he was WONDERFUL! He took time to meet with me and my husband. He discussed not only the physical, but the emotional changes that will take place after surgery. I was very impressed with his warm personality and patience in explaining every detail of the procedure, as well as the risks. Please see my journal for more info."

"Several of the nursing staff were very helpful, but some of the CNA's were very rude when it came to my rest time. I was jam packed in a small room with a dear lady that had a hip replacement, so she had tons of equipment, visitors, and different specialists. Everything was shoved around my bed to make room for her to move around with the walker. When they would come into the room in th middle of the night to assist her to go to the bathoom, they turned the bright overhead light on over MY bed to allow for a non-glaring light for her. There was really no place for mu husband to sit and visit with me, so he stayed very little for the first 2 days. I was unable to get ANY rest in the hospital, so I was VERY happy to go home."
