K.E. i am glad to hear that your cousin has given you the information you were searching for. This happends many times when people are talking about having this surgery. The Dern hear say is WORSE than what actually happened. You did the right thing by charging ahead and getting the REAL truth from the person who went through it. If you ever need any of us on the site, please let us know, We will tell you the truth, Many of us has went through this and we will not steer you wrong. Let us know what your final decision is. hey,good luck with your choice,in the begining i found my self debating wether i should have wls,the more i read the posting about how peoples life had changed it helped me with my choice.i tried to stay positive about the outcome. i am not a sickly person,and i have been blessed w/3 kids and all went fine w/no problems.so in my mind i was sure that all would go welland it also helped me to think that every thing happens for a reasonand if it was not ment to be i would not of got approved for wls.but i was and now i am 12 days post op and feel wonderful.good luck with your choice hope that all goes well.
