"I attended the seminar for Dr.Olsen in Nashville on November 19, 2002. My first impression of him was a good one he seems very skilled at Gastric Bypass and wants you to be very informed on the procedure and to understand that this is a "Tool" not a fix to your weight problem. I went to my first consultation with him on February 19, 2003 and again after the consultation my first impression has remained the same. I feel very comfortable with having Dr. Olsen as a surgeon thus far. On a personal level I have some insight into Dr. Olsen as a surgeon because he has performed surgery on my maternal Grandmother in the past. Dr Olsen stresses aftercare and I like that about him I would not want to feel like I was floating out there on my own with no guidance. This was a real plus. I would rate Dr. Olsen a 7 because of my limited time wiith him (2 meetings) and I have not had the surgery yet. I will rate him again Post-op."
