Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I'll share what I was told earlier this evening and that is to just close your eyes and jump like your attached to a bungee cord. Trust in God to bring you up. Hugz

7/29/03 Went for my pre op today at Delray Hospital. Went very smoothly. Everyone I met seemed to be very nice. I boy did I meet everyone. I got a tour of the facility, met the anesthesiologist Dr Busch, dietician Jackie, care coordinator Carmelle, Rn Rene and Rn Astrid. Jose took my blood and Erica and Dr Steigal?? in Radiology. My only fear was the diet I will have to follow and the fear of not learning quick enough how to eat slow. I always have inhaled my food. The tip on getting a baby spoon is a good idea. I would have tried chop sticks but I doubt they will work with pureed foods. Ok bye for now!

I wanted to wish you well with your upcoming surgery. I hope that all goes well and that you are up and out and about real soon. I'll bet you are are doing a happy dance accompanied by a bundle of unwanted "NERVES", but don't worry be HAPPY! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Good Luck!
