Adam Naaman

"I saw Dr. Naaman and his staff on 07/20/2000 on the advice of a friend. While the initial welcome to the office was "normal specialist" office, I was greeted warmly by his nurse - I was even told that I was the "smallest" patient that they had had during that day - I'm guessing that's a good thing! After the examination, I felt very informed of the procedure and possible risks and was given the opportunity to ask as many questions as I might have. He stated that he prefers to the Lap RNY, but will do it open if he finds it won't work out - whichever is the best for the patient. He did state that he wants his patients on a full liquid diet for 6 weeks, then soft foods for 6 weeks, then as tolerated thereafter. Dr. Naaman encourages all of his patients to get back into their routine as soon as possible and to start an exercise program. He gave the impression that if you're not in this for the long haul, then you don't deserve this life-saving procedure! The office had not contacted me in a couple of weeks, so I called on 08/03/2000. They stated that I had been approved by my insurance company with no problem! "
