"I have Decided on Dr. Popoola. I found him to be quite delightful and very interested in educating us on all types of elements of obesity The people in his office are great, especially in person. Over the phone, it's hard to get the feeling that they care. They just need to warm up to you. They do this all day, remember. Aftercare is treated with the same emphasis as the actual surgery. To them, you can have the surgery without commiting to the aftercare...for life. When Dr. Popoola explained the risks and benefits of surgery, I felt that they were very informed and not pulling any punches. They explained all the risks of surgery while not sounding too morbid (no pun). Keep in mind, I haven't yet had the surgery. I have simply been for a full physical, and attended an all day meeting with the doctor and his staff. Although I feel that Dr. Popoola has an excelent bedside manner, I would much prefer a surgeon to be competent than nice. "
