"My stay at the hospital was just fine. the first couple of days I was heavily medicated so it was all a blur. Most of the staff was incredible and I felt very comfortable asking for help. There were a couple of times late at night when I had to wait 1/2 hour or longer for assistance, but that was the exception. Over my stay there i did have a couple of roommates. One had way too many visitors and the other was a homeless drunk going through DTs, and insisted on getting out of his bed, screaming and generally causing trouble. They eventually had to restrain him and move him to an isolated ward. I feel he never should of been allowed in my room and caused me to miss a day in sleep. If you can arrange for a private room, it'd be preferable. My stay was a positive one though - no major complaints."

*IN MY OPINION* The doctors are excellent, but their staff needs some work, and they need to be more upfront with their patients on what to expect for out-of-pocket expenses and what is and is not going to be covered by insurance. I have made an appointment with a different surgeon <br><br>
I have now chosen to go with Dr. Ali in Fountain Valley. He works with Dr. LePort and seems to be a nice guy. The office staff is streamlined and they really seem to have their stuff wired tight. A big change from the swamp that is San Diego. They were able to get me in for an appointment right away. good stuff finally. <br><br>
The office staff at Dr. Ali's is the greatest! Whenever I call they are right there with the answers and even better - they laugh at my bad attempts at humor."
