Hi Amy! You are on your way!! I know this is a scary and exciting time for you. You are going to do just fine!!! Just think, You are starting a journey that only a few travel. You should be very proud of yourself. I am proud of you!!!! Think of some of the new things you will be able to do like take a long bike ride, get on a amusement park ride and not worry if you will fit in the seat, cross your legs and the best of all have the energy to do these things!!! Everything will be just fine and know you have a wonderful group of people here to help you meet your needs. The best of luck on your surgery with a speedy and healthy recovery!! My best wishes for a safe and successful surgery. I hope all goes well for you and that you have a problem free recovery and a rapid weight loss. I had my open rny in Oct. 2001 and have lost 215 lbs already and am at my goal. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!! This surgery had made a wonderful change in my life and I feel so good now it is unbelievable. I was using a cpap for my sleep apnea now I sleep like a baby and my wife says that I don't even snore anymore!! Good luck to you on your surgery and recovery.
