William Overcash

"My first impression of Dr. Overcash was fairly laidback, informal, factual and a bit of a sense of humor. From these observations, I felt he was extremely experienced and comfortable doing open RNY's and had been through virtually every condition associated with obesity & WLS. My impression to date remains the same except I have gained an added respect for his skill as a surgeon. Dr. Overcash's staff is efficent, polite and hardworking. Appointment dates are given with reasonable time frames. They are informed of what is neccessary to submit for insurance purposes. There is nothing I dislike about Dr. Overcash. I want a expert surgeon who knows how to handle my case, not a new best buddy. Future patients should know that they must really want and be committed to the lifesytle changes & conditions of WLS before meeting with Dr. Overcash. He will not talk you into it. All risks of surgery, complications and side effects of surgery were discussed during initial consultation. Dr. Overcash was exactly what I was looking for in a surgeon. I could not have made a better selection. "

Munroe Regional (COE)

"I was very pleased with the care that I received at Munroe Regional. The nursing staff, assistants and CNA's were extremely competent, timely and respectful. Two thumbs up!"

Robert Likens

"My sensitivity is average. On more than 1 occasion I left his office crying and frustrated because of his advice & lectures regarding my weight. He told me (after his assistant saw me crying) that Dr.'s treat obese patients barbaricaly because they are frustrated and have no effective method of treating these patients. Today I asked my PCP if he had any Gastric Bypass patients. He said "a few". I asked him if I could see him if I needed care after my WLS. He told me to go to the hospital. Upon leaving his office he said "You know that your insurance won't cover WLS". I told him "It's already been approved." "
