"Other than that they forgot to give me a breathing thingy and never did a nurse attempt to ensure my breathing was normal or ensure that pnuemonia would not become a problem, I think they were OK."

"I met with Dr. Steward back in June. He was very nice and understanding. I did not meet the criteria for surgery until I had them re-measure my height, which I insisted would change so I would qualify, as I have no other morbidities. (Although both my parents are insulin dependent and my father has heart disease.) He agreed with me that I shouldn't have to wait until I had problems like diabetes and such so that I would be able to be a much healthier person ahead of time. . .and not lose my health to being overweight. His office staff has been helpful, as well. He wants his patients to be knowledgable about all that this surgery encompasses. I feel very confortable being his patient and very lucky to have been accepted by him, as well. "
