George Ferzli

"Dr. Ferzli's reputation preceedes him. Every single medical professional that I consulted with over the past six months had nothing but the highest praise for his ability as a surgeon. Upon first meeting Dr. Ferzli, I felt at ease, he was extremely professional and personable. He explained the procedure to me in layman's terms, outlining the benefits and precautions for each surgical procedure. I really didn't see Dr. Ferzli on the day of surgery, only to shake his hand and introduce him to my family. Afterwards, I was informed, he approached my awaiting family and detailed everything. I saw Dr. Ferzli the next day, he told me everything went great, patted me on my head, and went on his way. Dr. Ferzli does have a reputation for not having the warmest bedside manner, I don't agree. In my opinion, so long as he's a brilliant surgeon, I could care less about his bedside manner. In conclusion - Dr. Ferzli is a brilliant surgeon, he has a well-structured aftercare program, and he has an outstanding staff. Anyone interested in WLS should seriously consider consulting Dr. Ferzli."

Thomas Kilkenny

"Met Dr. Kilkenny during my pre-op testing. He was extremely supportive of my decision to undergo this procedure. Also, he was very knowledgeable of the pulmonary problems associated with obesity."

Jean Spineli

"I have met with Dr. Spinelli once one-on-one and numerous times in group sessions. Her experience with obese individuals, both who have yet to have surgery and who have had surgery, is impressive. I have yet to attend a post-op session, but I plan on going to the very next one. Dr. Spinelli spelled it out clearly how things do and do not change post surgically. She explained that the surgery will not fix everything in your life. She also explained that depression is extremely common after this surgery - but she also explained how to help overcome such problems. I find Dr. Spinelli very easy and pleasant to talk to. I even attended a group session over the summer that included me and her. Instead of cancelling the meeting, we spoke for over an hour. She is very dedicated. I reccommend her highly to all who are thinking of this surgery."

Irene M. Nicolaides

"Irene is a professional in every sense of the word. Her knowledge of nutrition is vast, but where she shines is in pre and post WLS nutrition. Irene is constantly researching new products and supplements. She introduced me to two, pro-stat liquid protein and Vista Vitamins. She wrote the guides (lap band and RNY) for the post surgical eating progression. I am now one week post surgical and I have follwed her guide to a tee - I have yet to vomit, dump, or feel ill!!!! I would highly reccommend Irene to anyone who was considering WLS. She pulls no punches and she sugar coats nothing - she tells it like it is. She helped me realize that this surgery isn't the end-all so;ution, but a tool to use in achieving my weight loss goals."

Pro-Stat

"This product's taste is better than those Isopure pre-mixed protein drinks. You get 32 oz. for about $30, which seems expensive until you consider that two tablespoons provide you with 15 grams of protein! Most importantly, the protein utilized in this product is pre-digetsted, meaning that it is more easily absorbed for those who have gone through RNY or DS surgery. It can be mixed into any beverage or soft food (Jell-O). The only drawback, in my opinion, is that it only comes in cherry."
