WOW!!! I can't believe it's been a year already...time sure does fly. This time last year I was wondering what I had done to myself (just a few hrs out of surgery)This year I know and I'm so very thankful I had the surgery...this was the best thing I have ever done for myself and my family. I have lost around 160 lbs so far and still losing. I have so much energy..haven't felt this good in years. The first 3 weeks were rough..but it's been uphill ever since. I have had no problems and can eat anything..small amounts..but nothing bothers me. I can tie my own shoes..walk up stairs without getting out of breath..sit on the floor and get up by myself...go for long walks... We went to Great Bear Lodge a few weeks ago and my daughter Brittany commented on how I could ride the water slides now..things I never would have done this time last year. I want to wish everyone Good Luck on their upcoming surgeries and say WAY TO GO for all who have taken that step to the other side. God Bless you all!!!!!

Pam, Congratulations on making it to the other side!!! Hope your recovery is a speedy one, and you are on the road to losing quickly. I would also like to hear how things went for you at the BTC. I am looking into having surgery there in the future, and would like a little first hand knowledge. Please email me sometime when you are back up on your feet, and feeling better. spen2u@aol.com Take care! {{Soft Hugs}} Pam

Pams husband called me last night and told me she is doing well. They found stones in her gallbladder so they took it out also. He said the Dr. told him everything looked great. She is doing fine. My name is Bobbie Fenner and I am Pams angel.
