Susan, it was great to meet you at your parents house on Sunday and to see your wonderful progress! Thank you for being so open and discussing ALL your surgery ups and downs. You are an inspiration to new post-ops!

Spoke with Susan and she sounds wonderful! She had her swallow test and all looks good. She was up and putting on MAKE-UP this morning! Better than I was! She has been walking the halls and keeping that postive healing attitude. She was a little sore from the swallow test and being full. Quite a change from before. I hope to see her this evening weather permitting! Please keep her in your thoughts!

I saw Susan in the hospital tonight and she is doing GREAT! She is sitting up in a chair, and has been walking the halls already. Dr. Provost took out the NG tube late afternoon, so she does not have to suffer with that anymore. She is taking it all in stride and her spirits are high. Go Susan! Welcome to the other side.

Just spoke to Susan's Mom, Susan in in her room and awake and talking. She has made it sucessfully to the other side. Getting someone to answer your questions of where a patient is located at Parkland Hospital in Dallas can be quite trying on the nerves. Welcome to the losing side Susan!

Susan...I'm a bit late as your surgery is TODAY (Woohoo!) but you'll see this eventually! Wishing you much success and minimal pain...thank goodness for pain meds, LOL!
