8/8/00 Hi everyone. This is Tim Case, Kathy's WLS Angel. I talked to Rich, K's hubby this morning, and the surgery went fine! Kathy was still in recovery when Rich phoned. He loves that woman SO much! Well, she made it through to the other side and we're all proud of her. That's a tough decision for sure! Please drop her a note of encouragement when you all can! Kathy, I'm very proud of you and when you're down...and you will be for awhile, just keep remembering that it is worth it all the way! In two months you will completely understand, right post-op people??? Yes! Love ya, Tim.

Good luck Kathy. I recently decided to have this Surgery, and although I have met little resistance from friends and family. Most are supportive and positive. I think we are all a little nervous when it comes to having any operation and a positive outlook, positive support will pull you through your surgery with greater ease. You will have lots of prayers from a lot of people on this line and mine are added. Chin up and keep a smile in your heart. TL
