Alicia, congratulations on surviving your first holiday as a postie! Now that wasn't sooo bad, was it? *laugh* I'm 18 months post op now and this christmas was soooo hard! I can eat more now and there was just too many tempting things in the house. I can't wait till I get rid of it all! Anyhow, keep up the great work!

Hello all. Sorry I haven't posted. I am doing better. I ate some yougart yesterday. Tasted good. I went to my 1 week check up yesterday.I finally got my drain taken out. That drain sucks big time. I am down 16 pounds from 276 from day of surgery to 260. This depression it a lot harder than I expected, but I am trying to find my light at the end of my tunnel. Am I having second thoughts YES, but all the reasons way I had WLS are still there. So I am trying to be positive. I am going to my 1st support group as a post op so I can be around mind kind of people. People that understand me and my thoughts. Everyone take care and Angel Kisses to all. P.S. I want to say THANK YOU to my wonderful angel Stacie O. for all her support and just letting me talk. You are a great friend.

Hey everybody~ I just heard from Alicia- she is on clear liquids and having a hard time POST OP~ Remember how tough it was before the doc said we could eat something besides jello?? Please send her some encouragment- Thanks

ALICIA MADE IT!! I just got of the phone with the nurses at Scripps Mercy in San Diego. She only got to her room a few moments ago, I was told that she is doing very good, no pain or discomfort (gotta love that morphine pump). I am planning on seeing her tomorrow and am bring along two other surgery mates- hope she can handle us posties :)~~ YEAH Alicia! congratulations!!
