She's OUT and on the losing side!
Went to the hospital today to meet Carol, but only succeeded in meeting her husband and 2 daughters. Surgery time was pushed to 11 (instead of 9:15) so no report on Carol before I had to leave. Just received a call from her daughter Brenda that Carol came through the surgery well, although she is complaining that it feels like someone broke her ribs!
When too much time had passed without word to family, they checked and found that she was still in recovery. Hospital "complications" with no bed available. As of 6 p.m. she has been assigned a bed and room, but is still waiting for the room to be readied.
Surgery went well and proceedure was done lap, as she has hoped. Please feel free to visit Carol's surgery page and give her a "thumbs up." I know that she would really appreciate hearing from some of you "over 60" posties to hear some of your hints for a speeding recovery. Hugs from your "Angel" and another Carol (on the sunset side of Michigan)!
