" Quiet, Gentle and very unassuming. Very knowledgeable about the procedure. It hasn't. He's a great doctor. Very cautious. Friendly and Courteous Sometimes was a little slow in answering pages if he was needed Excellent bedside manner. He takes time to answer all of your questions without trying to scare you. Probably not as much as he should. However, I was given a manual to use as a bible. Post Op appointments have been scheduled. I have been instructed as to what foods I'm to be eating. He answered all of the questions truthfully but also assured me that they have a lot of ways to combat the different risks. I would recommend Dr. Vanderpool to anyone. He is a caring doctor who looks at the patient and not just the procedure. To me both are very important, but I would have to say obviously competence would win out."
