Frank Veninga
"I liked Dr. Veninga as soon as I met him. He was very understanding of the life the obese live. He is very empathetic to our emotional, mental and physical needs. I was made to feel totally comfortable in a doctor's office for the first time in years. He was very upfront and stated the facts without insulting me or hurting my feelings. I trust him. He told me that the doctor who did my Gall Bladder surgery had left me with a hernia. I didn't realize that. Talk about being in touch with your body! He said he would fix it. What I disliked the most was the drive to his office. It was very long, but worth every minute and toll charge. He spent an hour and a half talking to me and anwered all of my questions. He did get technical, but I have read alot and understood what he was saying. They say that Surgeons rarely have a bed side manner, but that is not true of Dr. Veninga. He was wonderful. His office staff was very nice and helpful. They went out of their way to help and make me feel comfortable. I rate Dr. Veninga as a 9 so far. "
