"I felt very comfortable with Dr. Alanis. He was very friendly and informative. I was the last consult and it was getting late, so I didn't get to spend as much time talking to him as I wanted, however, I have been so thorough in my research and asking questions (I call Neweigh often) until I felt satisfied with the consult. He did stress all the risks involved and drew a diagram of the surgery. Aftercare is a must and I had to sign a statement agreeing to participate in the after care program. I believe I'm in good hands. I am more in love with Dr. Alanis than when I first met him. He is a very competent surgeon who is compassionate and God fearing. He is very caring and takes time to listen to me. I ended up in the emergency room a week after I was released from the hospital because I thought my stitches were coming apart. He came to see about me personally and took good care of me. He is a great supporter and doesn't make me feel bad that I needed to have surgery to lose weight. He is the best. I highly recommend him. He also does very neat work and leaves you with a minimal scar that heals beautifully."
