Boy, can I relate to that! It is driving me nuts to see all of these people shouting out how wonderfully they are doing. I can't believe I'm so slow either. Hang in there, us "slow" ones will win in the end.

Way to go, Pam. 100 pounds is fantastic. Remember God made us all different and some of us might lose weight slower--probably me, too. I have my surgery on Friday, June 13. God Bless and keep up the good work.

Pam, I had my surgery (open rny) on 6/5 and I have had the rumbly tummy, too. Feels a bit like things are still 'settling in' to their new positions. The only thing I can compare it to is to being pregnant and the baby rearranging your insides when they move. Anyway, you're not alone! Hope you continue to get better and that we both find our energy up and sorness gone very soon! Hugs! Jonalee Echols

Hello everyone, this is the first time I have been on the computer since my surgery on 6/4 and I hadn't been in for several days prior to that. I thank everyone for the kind words of encouragement. I would answer each one of you individually, but just can't sit here very long yet. I am just starting to feel somewhat human again although I am so tired of the gurgling stomach all the time. Is this normal?? I am still on clear liquids until 6/13 when I go in for my first post-op appt and they should upgrade me to soft foods. When I see food on TV or whatever, it still looks good to me, but I know I can't eat it. I am somewhat scared to eat food, but am hoping it will help with the rumbly stomach. I do have some zantac which helps. I will post again soon when I have something further to update. For all of you who are going in soon, keep your chin up, it will be worth it!
