Nancy I just wanted to wish you a safe and uneventful surgery with a fast recovery! I’m having the DS/bpd on 2-20-03 WOO HOO Its coming up fast too! I started this process a year ago...and it flew by! May will be here for you before ya know it girl! :) I’m nervous but find myself more excited the closer the date gets here. I know we will do GREAT! 2003 will be a GREAT year for us with our new journey and life ahead of us!! We will never forget the path we are about to take or what brought us to this fork in the road. I visited Nancy today in the hospital! She was looking in a little pain, but was very upbeat and laughing. She even got out of bed to walk. This is day one after surgery, and she is doing awesome! She has some crazy lady across the hall yelling profanity at nurses, so we got a big laugh out of that. Thank you all for the love and support you have given Nancy, she is a great person!

Nancy made it to the other side! Hubby said she is resting and is in and out of it. I told him to tell her to get her running shoes on because I am going up to the hospital this morning and take her around the hospital. Hmmmm wonder if her door will be locked so I can't get in! LOL

Nancy, I wish you all the luck in the world on your surgery tomorrow. I'm sure you will be fine. I am 3 months post-op and have lost 57 pounds and had no complications. Good Luck and I wish you a speedy recovery. Jeanie
