Hello ALL!!!! I am about 3 months post op and have LOST about 75 lbs. I am so HAPPY that I had the surgery and hope everyone else is doing well..

Hello all!!! I am one day short of 3 weeks post op and I feel great!!! I have lost 30 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah!!! I don't like the protein drinks and the chewable tums and vitamins but I make myself take them. Otherwise I have very few complaints. My thigh is still numb and it hurts sometimes when I sleep but the nurse said it's nothing to worry about and will go away with time so again i deal with it. But all of it is worth it and I am happy I went throught it all. thanks ... Jane

Glad to hear you are doing well...and I don't know if it means anything, but after my first C-section I experienced numbness in the outer area of my thigh. Drove me nuts when it itched because I could never "feel" the scratch to bring relief lol. Anyway doc guessed a nerve got pinched and it went away after my second c-section 15 months later. He said it would have eventually went away anyway...but who knows for sure. Hope yours does!

Hello everyone Thank you for all the nice comments. I am one week post op and am doing pretty good. My biggest complication is my thigh is numb all the time but according to docs office it's not a big concern probably just a aggrevated nerve. And, that it will go away with time. Again thank you for all the comments and encouragements. Jane
