"My first impression was good. He saw me on time and was relaxed and eager to answer any questions. As time has gone on, I realize I may be a very lucky person to have this gentleman on my side and performing my surgery. He seems genuinely caring and available. So far, the staff is fine but very busy.
My impression of Dr. Gersin has done nothing but get better with time. He has a full complementary staff that meets all the needs of the bariatric patient. What I like least about Dr. Gersin is the location of his office, but the hospital location was great. My surgery, a laproscopic Roux-En-Y went well without complications. Needed tests were performed in a very timely fashion. I went home 24 hours later which greatly reduced the hospital charges that I may have to pay myself. He took into consideration my whole situation and gave excellent care in the manner that I needed it. Future patients should know that Dr. Gersin is a highly trained surgeon and they will be in excellent hands. Aftercare is readily available and encouraged. The risks of surgery were frankly addressed. I would recommend him HIGHLY 10+ to anyone requiring surgery. As far as what is better, surgical competence far outweighs a bedside manner. Dr. Gersin is blessed with the best of both."
