~*~(From my heart to yours)I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.(unknown author)~*~Hugs~*~

Steve's doing great!! 11 days out today, yesterday he had the JP drain removed and with it went most of his pain... he just has a little achiness. He's down 22lbs as of yesterday, and I can already tell in his face and his clothes are fitting loser. He's looking great!! I'm going to have to hurry up and have mine so I can catch up. ;) 22 days and counting until mine. But seriously, thank you everyone for all the positive thoughts and prayers for his success in surgery and recovery... everything's been perfectly uneventful so far. Yay!

I just wanted to post an update on Steve's progress. His surgery went very well. He arrived at the hospital with a slight temp which was probably caused by his allergies, since he was unable to take his medications for quite a few days prior to the surgery. Everything's been progressing very nicely... today he had a slight temp again, 101*, but the nurses and surgeon reassured him and I that it's very normal after surgery to have periods of an elevated temp, and not to worry... As quick as the temp came on, 2 hours later it was back down to 98*... so they aren't worried, he had been walking and sitting in his chair for nearly 2 hours prior to them taking it when it was elevated. Anyway, he should be coming home tomorrow (1 day earlier then he was scheduled to).... YAY!! that is as long as he continues to progress, walk (he's walked 5 times since his surgery yesterday, each time he does 2 laps around the hospital floor). So anyway, I'll cut this long winded update short. Thank you all for the prayers, happy, and positive thoughts! My hubby's doing perfectly because of all of your support! *hugs* Kim
