Wanda had her surgery on Thursday, 12/13. I called the hospital again on Saturday, in the late afternoon, to see how she was doing and she had already been discharged. WOW! Only 3 days in the hospital and one of those was her surgery day. I am so glad she is doing so well and already home. Congratulations Wanda!

I just spoke with Wanda and she came through her surgery with flying colors. The Doctor also removed her gallbladder. Wanda was supoosed to have her surgery early this morning, but the hospital and surgeon were running behind and she didn't go in for her surgery until noonish or a little later. So, she is really doing good to be so alert and able to talk on the phone by 7PM. I was totally out of it for at least 12 hours after my surgery. Wanda is having pain, but is copping with it as best she can. I will call her again Friday evening for an update. Congratulations Wanda and welcome to a wonderful new phase of your life. I hope it is everything you dreamed it would be and more. You deserve it.
