"I will be meeting with him on September 27, 2001 for a consultation. I did meet him at his seminar and he was very kind and compassionate. I liked his seminar a lot and the interest that he has in his patients and their care. I will update more after my consultation. A one on one with Dr. Provost and his staff.I also had a consultation on July 6, 2001 at BTC and met Dr. Idhi. He was great and very informative. I think my chances of approval would be better if I use a doctor that is in network. The Bariactric Treatment Center is not in network and it is a long way from where I live.It is in Wylie, Texas. I don't want to be all along when I have surgery because the hospital is in Wylie vs. Parkland Hospital that is in the middle of the metroplex.I had my consult with Dr. Provost and as he explained the procedure and the aftercare program, I decided at that time that I wanted him to do my surgery and we proceeded to get the approval transferred from BTC to Dr. Provost. I have attended his seminars every since my consult and I will contiue with the support groups before and after my surgery. The group of people are just great sharing and caring people. They all support you 100% as you journey to the other side and the communication through email is wonderful. I would rate Dr. Provost and his staff a big 10."
