Yes, being emotional is normal! Best wishes for a speedy recovery! This surgery, used properly, will not only save your life but make it much richer! :)

Here's to a successful surgery and recovery. I too cried and was emotional the days before surgery, but you know what, I cried at my wedding, I cried at the births of my children. Though exciting times a bit nerve racking also. Go ahead and cry or laugh or scream. This is an exciting moment in your life and just like the others I mentioned one that will change your life forever. Mary

Good luck with your surgery! I've been getting a bit emotional too. I think it's just relief. Sort of when the doctor hands you your newborn baby. This is a rebirth of sorts too. Holding a happy thought for you!

Eugenia, Hang in there, you will do fine. We all go thru that crying period just before surgery. Just remember If God brings you to it- he will see you thru it. Think positive thoughts, and you'll do great. Hugs!

I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK on your surgery. Take a deep breath, try to relax. Know that we all care about you and are wishing you the best. Think positive, it really does help. After surgery, remember to turn, cough, take deep breaths, and walk to prevent complications. Hold your incision when you cough, it helps it hurt less. Keep your profile updated, it may make a difference in the live of someone else. Smile, keep your chin up! And lastly, if your chin does fall, just remember, from this position it is easier to moon people! :) (Also, humor helps too!)

Dear Eugenia, My thoughts and prayers will be with you for a successful and problem free surgery and recovery. I hope you will be as happy with your decision as I have been with mine. With the loss of 134 pounds my life has changed dramatically. Things just keep getting better and I wish the same for you. Prayers and blessings. Mary Linn

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all
