I'm so glad to hear that you are doing well!!! I have no idea what the taste is, I never experienced that! Call the clinic and they might have an answer for you!! I pray that everything will continue to go well for you, just remember to take everything slow, it makes a difference!! I know what you mean about the pureed foods, the liquids get old quick, but don't try them before time, I didn't and I think that's why I am able to handle them so well now. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your first post op appt.!! Hugs!!

Monday--October6 HELLO----- TESTING----- I have made it to the otherside. Surgery was WEd. 1st and I came home Sat 4 in the evening. I am now venturing down The Loserville Trail. Things have been good. NOT the most pleasant but good. I have a horrible horrible taste in my mouth that ruins the flavor of even plain Water. I am tolerating what I eat(sip down)... lol. DOING my very best to keep sipping those liquids. ANY clue what the yuck taste in my mouth is and how long it will hang out??? TOO all those preparing for surgery. GOOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES. It will go very well.

I have 4 more days to go. I am a NERVOUS wreck! My panic attacks are hitting strong starting yesterday. I was floating for awhile with all the adrealine that seemed to flowing in me. NOW I am getting SCARED. I am crying for no reason.. ughhhhh... Not scared of the surgerical procedure... the after affects. Probably the typical can I really do this, Am I strong enough to make this happen. Do I have the right mindset... Why do we do this to ourselves? lol.. I have NOT doubted my decision since day one, but WOW has my NERVES taken over. I keep telling myself all will be fine in the long run and I will be on "Loserville Ave." soon. My family is great support. I just keep looking at all the websites and that gives me strength through the rough moments. THANKS to anyone who has posted a website the success stories have been fabulous, but at other times make me feel overwhelmed. Thanks for listening. Be thankful for the past, have courage for the present, and faith for the future! Tweety aka Diana

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. Wishing you a speedy recovery. See ya on the losing side Diana!
