"I was very favorable impressed with him. He spent considerable time with my husband and I explaining the procedure, the possible complications and what we could expect. He also allowed ample time to answer our questions. I had never had a physician spend as much time making sure we knew what we were getting into. His office staff is excellent, everyone. Debbie, his weight loss coordinator is special, very caring and informative. He is very careful to explain after care and wants to be sure you understand what your part will be in the success of this surgery. He has a very specific aftercare program. He was careful to address the risks of surgery and made sure my husband and I both knew that because of existing health problems I would spend at least the first night in ICU. No surprise here. I would have no qualms in giving both him and his staff an excellent rating. I truly believe that surgical competence is the most important asset. Bedside manner is important, but not more important than competence."
