Lynn, Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my page. We definitely will have a GREAT surgeon. I'm SO sorry your insurance company is being a pain. I had so much stress about that too, and I'll be praying that somehow you'll find a way quickly to get the approval. Please keep me posted. You can appeal all that, tell them the information they seek is a little too extensive - there's no way you can find all those records. Dr. E even said that a "medically supervised" weight loss could be a doctor suggesting that you lose weight! Take care and keep me posted ,ok? ~Melinda

Hi Lynn, thank you so much for your very thoughtful post. It is wonderful that you will not have to wait till next YEAR!! to see a surgeon..I know the waiting is really the pits..but it is worth the weight!!! I hope evrything goes smoothly for you on your journey to the lighter side..good luck!!!!

I'm happy for you that you did not have to wait until next year to begin the process. I know when I made the decision I was ready to go RIGHT THEN. Good luck on a speedy insurance approval and surgery date.
