I came across your name on the Obesity Help Website.  I am a patient of Dr. Schutnechts and I wondered if you could answer me a question.  I received a Surgery date last Thursday for this Tuesday, March 4.  I just assumed that my insurance was approved, because they gave me a date.  I went for my Pre-Op testing at Harper yesterday.  After I got home I just had a weird feeling to call the doctors office to see if I had been approved, since they never really said, just had given me a date.  Well, I called Chuckie and said "I have a stupid question, have I been approved".  She said "your next on my pile to send over for approvals."   OMG my surgery is in 6 days!  Anyway, later I called her back.  I told her I had to call BCBS for something else & just asked if this type of surgery is approved.  They said you need Predetermination first.  I told her this & she almost bit my head off.  She said "That is what I do" you don't need to call them".  I told her I had called for something else, which I did & she said "I wish you people would just let me do my job".   Maybe I just got her on the wrong day, but I am very worried because I can't afford this surgery if it isn't covered.  Did you have any problems like this??? I have Blue Cross PPO through Daimler Chrysler. Thanks for listening! Mary M.

I agree with Rhonda, it sounds like a really bad yeast infection. Call your doctors office and talk to them. Hope it's all cleared up soon.
