WOOHOO! Went to the Dr. today. 9 days post-op and I am 249 down 20lbs gone forever!!!! I am doing really well. I have tolerated everything I have eaten thus far. I was so happy to broaden my eating horizion today. Refried beans tasted so Good! My sense of smell has broaden since the surgery which can be good but it also can be bad and sometimes very bad. I can't wiat until I can sleep on my side. My back really aches sometimes. I can walk over 1 mile now. I am very excited. God Bless and good luck to all of you who are waiting.

Hi all, I got released from the hospital last night. I didn;t feel too bad on Wednesday. Thursday, however; WOW I felt awful but a short time later on Friday I felt much much much better. Today I have been walking and I feel pretty good. I am really sore. I got to eat my first "meal" (hahahaha) today at noon. Three bites of cream of wheat. I was full. I really have not been hungry. My teenager said "I wish I could be full after three bites". I think I can safely say that sneezing is your enemy. The only question I really have is how much should we drink in a 24 hour period? Yesterday sips of water made my pouch "cringed", today I have been fine drinking, I am thirsty but I am afraid to overdrink. I have 12oz of water and 3oz of apple juice mixed with 5oz of water. Thank you for everyone's "blessings". I will try to keep up on this site. God bless to all of you that are thinking or getting ready to have this procedure done. Cheryl
