lyrics to a song:: i wish you the best of luck and i hope that everything goes smoothly for you <3 Well I'm doin' the best I can. I'm doin' the best I can. It's a bumpy trip And I often slip But I'm doin' the best I can. My doctor has suggested I better lose some weight, so I measure every portion I am putting on my plate. I'm counting all the calories In everything I eat. I've cut out cake and I've cut out candy And I never, never cheat! Well hardly ever cheat! (spoken) For instance, last night a friend of mine was having an art opening at a gallery, and I hadn't eaten dinner yet, so I was very hungry, and when I got to the gallery they had all this free wine, and these teeny tiny h'ors d'oevres and teeny tiny petit fours and I only had a few. . . But maybe that's the reason When I weighed myself I found Instead of losing weight I had put on another pound! I got upset but then I sang this song again. I'm just Doin' the best I can. I'm doin' the best I can. It's a bumpy trip And I often slip But I'm doin' the best I can. To help me with my diet I've joined my local gym. I work out on the treadmill Then I go in for a swim. I take a class in stretching And aerobics, that's for me! I've never joined a Gym before But I go there regu-lar-ly! Well, sort of regu-lar-ly! (spoken) Actually, I go there regularly once a week. Well, not exactly once a week, I go every other week. All right, if you must know, I go once a month, if I'm in the mood, there's a full moon and it's a Tuesday. Now I know that's the reason When I weighed myself I found Instead of losing weight I had put on another pound. But I'm not gonna cry I'll give it another try. 'Cause I'm Doin' the best I can. I'm doin' the best I can. It's a bumpy trip And I often slip But I'm doin' the best I can. So if you're workin' hard but Things don't go the way you plan. Don't yell at yourself, just tell yourself "I'm doin' the best I can." Yes,
