To My friend, angel and surgery mate...I wish you a the very best in your surgery and recovery. Let's see who makes it to the other's room first for a visit. My surgery is first and I'll have longer to recover, but you know it will be longer and more complicated. Maybe that will even the odds. No matter what we have to get our tails out of bed by Tuesday evening. See you on the other side at the starting line of our new lives. Love, Roxane

Okay, sweetie...it's almost your turn. We've been thru the whole journey together -- you there for me and now me there for you! We fought Cigna and just always knew we were going to make it. I'm excited about really getting to meet you and be there for you on your day. Who would have ever thought we would become such great friends and not even have seen each other in all these months! Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey. Hi LA! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! There’s really nothing you can do with the all those feelings surfacing. You may start to doubt yourself and question your decision to have surgery. Just about everyone has had this happen to them. You’re making a decision to have a better quality of life and YOU deserve it!! That gut feeling or that little voice inside lets you know that you’re doing the right thing! Remember that we’re all family here and we’re here to give you our support, lend an ear and not judge. There are lots of us who have had surgery and are in your corner rooting for you!!
