"My first impression was that he was very stern. He wants to make sure you know what your getting into. He is an older gentleman, who has been in practice since the late 1960's.
My second meeting with him, I see he is a doctor that really cares. First thing he asked me was if I had read all the information he had given me. I said yes, and he asked me what surgery I wanted(he only preforms the VBG) If I wanted the RnY he was ready to give me a referral to see another doctor.
His staff is great, very pleasant to deal with.
I weigh 300lbs. I am 5'4". He stated with this surgery I will be able to drop to 180lbs. easily, anything below that will be from my own determination. I am up for the challenge. For the first time in my life I want to be skinny!! I can't wait. He didn't say anything about an aftercare support group. He definately went over the risks of the surgery. Overall, for now I will rate Dr. Lusignan as a 10, out of a 10. I will update when I'm on the other side.
