HI, just wanted to update. I have not for a while. I went to the doctor Jan. 11, and as of 12 weeks I have lost 73 pounds. I am so excited. I have people telling me they can really notice a difference now. I hope everyone is doing well. I am still just eating my 2 ounces, 3 times a day. I am still getting full. I have not been drinking the water as I should but I will do better. Have a good day, Wendy

Hi Wendy! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you for your update and way to go! My weight loss parallels yours and I couldn't be more pleased. I can finally say that I would do this again. It was challenging getting through recovery and learning a new way of eating. Now that we are 2 months out I am happy to be satisfied with so much less. I also learned that I cannot consume too much fat or I will dump. Sugar over 10 grams also triggers dumping. I am grateful for these negative reinforcements. Yesterday I had too much cheese on crackers and I know I won't do this for New Years. Keep in touch and share your trials and triumphs. God Bless!

Thanks so much for your posting. That really means alot to me. That's great that we had surgery the same day, we can keep track of each other and how things progress. We are 6 weeks out today. Time seems to be flying by fast. I just thank God that I made it to the other side. We had a lady in our support group here who was called home. Everyday is just so wonderful.

Hi Wendy! Thanks for your post. I can't believe that you are eating solids already! My recovery is going alittle slower. I am 4 weeks out and I am able to eat some things as long as they are chopped up fine. Sometimes I slip and try to eat some pasta and that gives me trouble every time. I just have to wait till later on before I try it again. I found if I poach my egg beaters for scrambled eggs I can manage it ok. I have been going to the gym to build up my stamina and that is going well. I had open so I won't be going back to work till Nov. 29th. I'm glad that you are doing so well. Keep up the good work and if you have time let me know if you have and solid food recommendations. God bless!!
