Well Hello everyone! I did get home yesterday afternoon. I am still very sore, Dr. Compton say's it's to be expected al long as he had to chissel through the scat tissue. My daughter said, I made it to the top of the "Tuffest To Do surgery On Most Wanted Poster"LOL I don't know if this was a good thing or not. I am finding it hard to eat anything except Ice chips. And a little broth. Pop sicles etc. Not my thing as of yet. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I am verry tired. So I'll update later on.

hi my name is maria i'm christines daughter i'd like everyone to know she got to come home today and shes doing fine still pain but thats life she wants to tell everyone thank you especialy terra , saundra, and janice

I spoke to Christine last night, she is still in quite a lot of pain but is better. She has been up walking and is getting the famous "ice chips". She hopes to go home Saturday.

I stopped by and saw Christine today. She's still really out of it. I think that she must be super sensitive to the morphine. She's also super sore from the surgery. It took 7hrs, 3 of which were spent trying to get past the scar tissue. Then Dr. Compton discovered that she had two holes in her stomach that had to be repaired. I was getting this information from a very drugged Christine so I don't know too much else. She's holding up well, but I think that she's a little worried now. If you have some free time and feel comfortable give her a call at the hospital. I'll post again tomorrow.

I stopped by to see Christine today, she was asleep but she looked very good. I'll be stopping by to see her tomorrow and will post once again.

I just spoke with Christine, she has been in her room for a few hours and is in quite a bit of pain. Her blood sugar was high so they gave her a shot of insulin. She knows that tomorrow will be a better day. Remember her in your prayers.
