3-10-2002 Hi all, just wanted to let you know I'm continuing to improve everyday. I have lost 21 pounds, and am now on pureed foods. I still tire easily, but my Dr. tells me that is normal, other than that, I'm doing GREAT!!! My blood sugars continue to normalize, I'm off of five of my perscriptions, saves me over three hundred dollars a month...YEA! I'm so greatful to all of you for the prayers and support, and special Kudo's to my Angel Sheryl Titone, she's super. God bless all of you, Dolores

2-27-2002 WOW, what a week this has been! Had my surgery on the twenty first, woke up, almost wondering if they had actually done it, due to so little pain. Was progressing really well, when I began to have trouble breathing two days after surgery, then all h--l broke out, I had Pulmonary edema and Congestive heart failure, due to fluid retention from the surgery ....can you believe about twenty pounds worth. Suddenly, there were so many people in my room, I thought it was one of those contests to see how many people they can fit into a given space........LOL. Once they diagnosed the problem, they gave me a super shot of Lasix to get rid of the fluid, and boy did it work, spent most of the night in the potty room, but lo and behold, by morning I was so much better I talked them into releasing me.....YEA! I'm home now, and doing better every day, I really feel great! Haven't had trouble with anything else. I wanted to say Thanks so very much, your prayers and support meant the world to me, I don't know how I would have done all this with out you, your absolutely wonderful, and I'm so grateful to you all! And, special Thanks to my Angel, Sheryl Titone, she's a very special lady, with a great personality, love, concern and compassion for others........YEA SHERYL!!!!!!! i just got off the phone with dolores & she sounds tired but terrific!!! shes very glad to be home & says she is recovering very nicely. she is very grateful to all her AMOS family for their prayers & support. so am i. once again we have showed the world what a great 'family' we all r.
