MAY 16,2002 I FEEL LIKE THERE SHOULD BE A DRUM ROLL OR SOMETHING.I HAD A VERY TIREING DAY YESTERDAY DOING ALL MY PRE-OPS...SUCH A BIG HOSPITAL AND IT BEING MILITARY,YOU THE PATIENT HAVE TO DO ALL THE RUNNING AROUND TO THE DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS. I SAW DR. FRIZZI THEN OFF TO SEE(THE ONES WHO PUT YOU TO SLEEP)CANT SPELL THE WORD,LONG AND BOREING,CHEST X-RAY,ITS LATE,I'M TIRED SO I BEGGED TO FINISH UP AT FORT MCPHERSON HERE AT HOME,AND I HAVE FINISHED.ALTHOUGH, THEY DIDNT DO ANY ABG I WILL CALL ABOUT THAT TOMORROW, I AM JUST 5 DAYS AWAY,I GET THE 6AM SLOT FOR SURGERY WHICH IS GOOD,I GET TO GO FIRST,BUT REALLY I ONLY HAVE 2DAYS LEFT TO BE MY OLD SLOBBY SELF,LAST MEALS AND ALL THAT.CAUSE THE EARLY SURGERY MEANS I HAVE TO START THE BOWLE PREP A BIT EARLY, JUST TO GET IT ALL DONE..DOING THE HAPPY DANCE,,,,,,,,I HAD 2 BLT SANDWHICHS FOR BREAKFAST THIS MORNING.YUMMMM.I AM HAVING A STAKE FOR SUPPER AND ALOT OF CHINESE ON SATERDAY, I DID ASKE TO BE ASLEEP BEFORE THEY INTABATE ME AND THEY CHECKED MY THROAT AND SAID YES I COULD, AND THAT I WOULD HAVE MY IV AS AN ARTRIAL IV TO BETTER MONITOR ME.HATE THE SOUND OF THAT..I HAVE 15 LIST OF THINGS TO DO GOING IN MY HEAD OF STUFF I NEED TO REMEMBER NOT TO FORGET..GOTTA GO
