"I first met with Dr. Patterson the end of January, 2002. She was very informative and explained the surgery in detail. I was impressed. I had already done the required sleep study, psch. evaluation and visit with a dietician she requires. I was also put on a strict diet. I saw her again in April and I`d lost 30 lbs. I received my surgery date of June 12th, 2002 and saw Dr. Patterson on May 29th, 2002 with my husband. She went over the surgery and possible complications in detail with us. I`ve lost a total of 40 lbs. before the surgery. She said it will make the surgery easier on me. I`ve heard nothing but praise about Dr.Patterson and I feel confident that I have chosen the best surgeon for my WLS. "
