Betty I meant to get here earlier but just didn't, I hope you get this before you leave for the hospital. I want to wish you all the very best on your journey into a better and healthier life. Hi Betty. I too refused to write any letters or to think anything other than the positive. After all God has made the way for you to do this do you really think he would abandon you now. absolutely not! Your frame of mind going in to surgery is one of the most important attributes you have to make it through with the least amount of problems. That old saying faith can move mountains is so true. I was fornuate enough to have so many praying for me there was no doubt I would be just fine and 1 month later and 30lbs less I am just fine. Praise God! So you keep youself pumped up spiritually with postive people around you don't even entertain any negative thoughts whatsoever. I was at complete peace when I entered the OR room I wasn't nervous or afraid because I knew I was in God's will for my life. Be not afraid because lo I am with you always. May the surgeon do exactly what is required no more no less, Guide his hands oh Lord as he works as your instrument. May Betty heal exactly as expected with no obstacles in her path. May her blood course through her veins with out any troubles at all Lord I ask you to give her and her family peace at this and pour out your blessings abundantly, In Jesus mighty name amen. Aug. 11th 11:20pm Well here it is sunday night and two weeks from tomorrow (Lord's Will) I will have to get up very early and be at the hospital at 5:30am,, I just wonder if I will be able to sleep that night, I doubt it, My calendar is nearly covered with big red X's where I have been marking off the days, I am excited and mostly all I'm nrevous about is wondering what I will need to get ahead of time so I will be prepared when I come home from the hospital, will I need sterile bandage to change the dressing, and what kind of protein drink , well I have to go have all my blood work done wed. 15th and from there we (hubby and I) plan to go to one of the gnc stores, everyone wish me luck and keep me in your prayers, OH I AM SO ANSIOUS TO GET ON THE LOSING SIDE
