My 'Angel' has been sooo good to me, thank you, Kathy! Thanks to all of you that have posted here with prayers, wishes of luck, and encouraging words. God has answered all with my near painless recovery. A friend told me this was God's way of telling me I chose the right path to follow on my weight loss journey. He IS an awesome God.

I am Julie's angel and I visited her at the hospital today. She had her surgery on Thursday and today is Saturday and she went home! She is doing absolutely terrific! She was up walking (practically jogging) around the hospital hallway, with minimal pain. She is doing great and managed to drink some broth, sorbet', and some soup. I believe that she has even lost several pounds in the last couple of days. Hopefully everything will continue to go well - please keep her in your prayers!

This is an update on Julia. She came through surgery fine and the procedure was done laproscopically. It was about 6 hours and she is on her way to recovery and then her room. I hope to see her later this evening and will update more tonight or tomorrow. Keep her in your prayers that her recovery continues to go well. Kathy B.

Best of luck Julia, I know all will be well. I am having my surgery July 8 w/ Dr. Lucktong. I also live here in Roanoke. My friend works in the O.R. with him and says he does amazing work. She says he handles everything so well and doesn't panic like certain other local surgeons here in our area. You are in great hands, and in the Lord's hands as well. Best of luck and I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. So excited. Amy
