"My first impression of Dr. Monk was excellent. The staff was also great and very friendly. I was only there for one visit so I really can't give you a second opinion of how things went. I go back on Sept. 3rd and can tell you more later. My instincts are always pretty good and I also have a very good friend who had him for the surgery and was very well pleased, so I doubt if my opinion will change. He is very informative and does not make you feel bad for your being over-weight. He addressed all the risks of the surgery and answered my questions. I will be having another visit with him , so that my husband can go along so he can answer his questions also. "
