"First I had a bright orange bracelet saying that I was allergic to codeine and that was one of the first mistakes my nurse made. The PCU seemed "put-out" by bariatrics patients one nurse even commented that this will not become my surgeons "own special wing". I am not usually a complainer, but I was not the only one noticing these things. I even heard nurses griping about an elderly patient that had had a BM in her bed; now do you think if they had taken the time to get her up that would have happened? Utterly disguested by the care there. NO reflection whatsoever on my surgeon though, he was fantastic."
