William Overcash
" I met Dr. Overcash in May, having researched him on the internet, read impressions from other patients on his site, and reviews on other sites, even consulted my local psychic. Consensus is that he is an excellent surgeon. He clearly addresses the risks of surgery upfront. Also, I have been told that he works very quickly, which is a good thing since I imagine I am impatient even when I am unconscious. His office staff has been kind and helpful; they seem to have some appreciation of how vulnerable one becomes when she decides to embark on yet one more attempt at weight loss. If nothing seems to be happening, it is really important to follow up with a phone call; I went six weeks without hearing anything from them, only to find out when I finally did call that a long intake form I faxed them did not go through. Once that was taken care of, everything moved quickly. Being a fat person, I am very defensive and skeptical about the medical profession; I tend to postpone as long as possible doctor's visits mostly because I don't want to be weighed and hear the lecture about dieting. I sensed none of that with Dr. Overcash. I also talked with several of his patients in the waiting room who had varying lengths of recovery time. All had only positive things to saw about him. I anticipate doing the same after my own surgery. "
