Hello friends,
I'm officially a "Loser" now. It is with great pleasure that I receive this title :)
I'm post op thank God. Had a very uneventful surgery. As promised, my procedure indeed ended up to be Lap. What I felt was Gas pressure, not real pain thank God. I walked four hours later. Waddled in the haze of Drugs is more like it...
I had more nausea than pain and the meds worked great. I never would have imagined how good Jell-O, Chicken broth and Italian ices could taste:) Cedar Sinai hospital and staff are super and they really cater to you. I felt like some celeb. on the 8th floor... The only regret that I have is that I haven't done this surgery a long time ago... but I'm really looking forward to making up for lost time...
Oh, before I forget. Imagine my surprise when walking the hallways at the hospital I met a woman whom I haven't seen for 30 years. We used to work together... Out of Millions in LA we run into each other both having surgeries on 10/10
It is such a coincidence that I had to mention it.
Patty M. doesn't know it yet but I consider her to be my angel. She called me at the hospital and let you all know how I was doing. You are a real pal angel Patty. Your support is invaluable, xox.
So you may all ignore my comment at the top of my page saying that I don't know who my angel is yet..
All of you were so wonderful and supportive and God bless you all.
Love, Margi
