Brian Quebbemann

"At first Dr. Quebbemann came across as very serious and perhaps a little unapproachable, however, this impression changed very quickly when he took the time to answer all our questions. His answers were honest and to the point and neither my husband or I ever felt put down or brushed off. He was very sensitive about making sure we left his office with all our questions answered and most of all, we never felt he tried to push the surgery on me. I originally went in with the idea of getting the LapBand, but after talking to Dr. Q we left knowing that it was not the right procedure for me. Dr. Quebbemann and Dr. Dallal are both very cognizant of after care and are very insistent that their patients follow the aftercare program. They have support groups that meet once a month. The risks of surgery were explained very clearly, not with the intention of scaring us but to make sure we understood what could possibly go wrong. My husband and I both feel that we made the best decision in selecting Dr. Quebbemann as my surgeon and now two weeks post op I feel even more strongly about this. "

Hoag Hospital

"The only thing we were not excited about was the fact that they couldn't get a respiratory therapist to come to the room with a cpap machine. Fortunately we had brought mine to the hospital and that's the one we ended up using. My husband was able to spend the two nights with me and they were very accomodating to his needs as well. Overall it was a very good experience."
