Maria, thanks for your support and prayers. Actually I feel calm and confident going into this surgery and have placed my future in God's hands. I've done so much research and once I got my date I suddenly felt very calm. It was the uncertainty of not knowing if I would find a surgeon who would take my insurance that made me nervous and anxious. Just keep breathing slowly and soon you will be post-op. Tricia

We are both so pleased to be writing to you and sending all of our heartfelt congratulations to you for choosing this procedure to extend your life and to let you live your life to the fullest extent. We both had open rny's in 2001. Mine (Doug, aka: OLD RODEO CLOWN PANTS), was in Oct and I have lost 215 lbs. I started at 450!!!! My sweet wife, Nancy, had hers in June and has lost 110 lbs. Maria Thank You for the info on OPEN RNY. I really appreciated it. I wanted to wish you a speedy recovery. I'll have you in my prayers. Maria WOW!your day is almost here! I know you are going through a whirlwind of emotions about now as the day draws nearer......
