Medical City Dallas

"All was well except for most of nursing staff. I had to call and call for help to the restroom and no one would help with personal hygeine - I actually slept with stool on me - awful personal care. Nurse assistants would take gown off with cleaning staff in room - did not protect my privacy"

Lawrence Barzune

"He is all business. You have to go to a seminar before you can even talk to anyone and you have to have your insurance approved before you get to talk to him. I thought this was strange but since I have had my cosult I feel very different. Once I finally met him he just seemed tired. Tired of repeating the same things over and over. He is very straight-forward about this is a forever change. He wants to see you for as long as he is in practice - no cost to you. His office is very unadored and his fees are very reasonable. He also has won awards and has done more OPEN RNY and for longer than anyone else in the MetroPlex. He just seems like a "crumedgeon" but I know he is on my side. He does have a very structured after-care program and also has the Center for Obestity Surgery website that has links from AMOS's website. I would rate him 7 right now but I have not had surgery or even a seocnd consult and my surgery is scheduled for march 2. I will post more later. I also research Dr. B (this is what his patients call him) on the Texas State Baord of Medical Examiners and he has a great standing in the Medical Community."
