8/30 Thursday Hi there, I'm back at home, I was discharged at noon or so. I can honestly say that I have gone through some tough very tough pain. Vencor Hospital was very bad experience for me. Ivonne and I were there for each other "Thank God" because if we had to depend on them that would have been too much for them to handle. I can really say there was two nurses that deserve an award for being "AWESOME" but that was mainly at night while you were sleeping Dr. Samuels and Susan visited us on a daily basis which was awesome. We also had a Psychologist visit us on daily basis as well. I think that I have chosen the best surgeon in the world I have never had surgery done but I can honestly say "HE IS THE BEST OUT THERE" Lets talk about the "PAIN" I really didn't imagine that I would have so much pain. Ladies and gentleman "IT IS VER PAINFUL" and as I'm writing to all I wont lie about that.

ANGEL REPORT...Karina is out of ICU (which is standard for our Dr.) she is back in her room and fairing well. Yes she is in pain, but most of it is being controlled well. You can't expect to have major re-routing surgery and not have some pain..that is why when Karina and I spoke before I became her Angel..she asked me many questions and I was truthful so she would no what to expect. I'm glad she is doing well and pray for her rapid recovery. I know her Mother was so concerned as mine was and I know she will begin to feel better when Karina becomes a healthier person and she has made the 1st most important step in doing that. YEAH KARINA..if you get a chance to stop by her surgery page and let her know your sending your thoughts I'm sure she would love it. HAVE A GREAT DAY!

^^^ANGEL REPORT^^^. Karina's Mom Amelia just called me from Vencor in Ft. Lauderdale and Karina just got out of surgery and she is now in ICU. She said she was giving her Mom some hand signals that she was ok..Let's all keep praying for an easy recovery for her. They will begin walking her in a few hours...we all know the feeling I'm sure, but it's a must for recovery...take care all and have a beautiful day. Happy my friend is on the other side!!

^^^ANGEL REPORTING^^^Karina entered Vencor (Kindred Healthcare)Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale today she is having breathing treatments, antibiotics and liquid diet getting ready for tomorrow's surgery with Dr. Samuels. She has her friend as a roommate, Ivonne so they will have each other to comfort. She has a great positive attitude and lots of family support. Her Mom and hubby will be there tomorrow. Her surgery is scheduled for 11:00 AM. I'll keep you posted and thanks to all who sent and are sending best wishes.
